Welcome to Green Mountain Junior Football Association---Home of the RAMS!
Green Mountain Junior Football Association (GMJFA) is a 501(c)3 youth football organization located in Lakewood, Colorado that has been in existence for over 40 years. We offer tackle football for children in grades 2nd through 8th and flag football for children in grades Kindergarten through 3rd. Tackle football teams are formed by grade level regardless of age. If your child is entering 2nd grade in August 2010, they are eligible to play tackle football. Flag football teams will be comprised of Kindergarten and 1st graders combined and 2nd and 3rd graders combined. If your child is entering Kindergarten in August 2010 they are eligible to play flag football. New players are welcome at all grade levels.
GMJFA is a member of the Jefferson County Midget Football Association (JMFA), which has been around for over 60 years, along with 14 other areas in Jefferson and surrounding counties.
GMJFA is run by a board of 11 elected volunteers from the community in addition to one member from each team. All minutes of the association are located on our website and are available to all members of the association. Meetings are held monthly and all members are encouraged to attend.
